City Harvest, a nonprofit in New York City, uses Cisco HyperFlex technology to help their staff and volunteers efficiently distribute to food programs around NYC.
This November and December, the Cisco HyperFlex team is joining City Harvest to help fight hunger and will be matching the donations you give up to $20,000. With nearly 1.3 million New Yorkers facing hunger, your donation WILL make a difference.
About City Harvest: the nonprofit works to rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste – this year it will be 59 million pounds of food – and they deliver it free of charge to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city. Every $1 donated helps City Harvest rescue and deliver FOUR pounds of good food.
Alongside helping out New York City, they have also been closely involved in hurricane relief efforts. Read more here: https://www.cityharvest.org/relief/
To give you an idea of how far your money goes:
• $10 helps feed 40 people
• $20 helps feed 11 people for a week
• $50 helps feed 6 people for an entire month
By donating, you’ll help keep City Harvest’s trucks on the road and filled with nutritious food for people in need.
Click “Donate Now” to make a tax-deductible contribution. If you are a Cisco employee, please indicate so in the "Donor Employer" section of the donation form.
We truly appreciate your generosity.
